“Comedy for a Cause”

Aline Bogossian and Pina De Santis, employees at Tecsys Inc., have something in common: in 2000 and 2001 respectively, both Aline's son and Pina's nephew were afflicted with a terrible disease called acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Both boys endured 2-1/2 years of intensive chemotherapy treatment at the Montreal Children's Hospital. Thankfully, both Alec and Gianluca are doing well.Inspired by their stories of courage and determination, a group of Tecsys employees, calling themselves "P.A.L.S." (Pina, Aline, Lidia, Susie), got together in an effort to support children with cancer.Aline and Pina will tell you that laughter is one of the key ingredients to recovery. Given this, the P.A.L.S. hosted their first "COMEDY FOR A CAUSE" evening at the Comedy Nest, which was preceded by a lunchtime bake sale and raffle. With the additional support of Escher-Grad Technologies, this much-loved event raised over $5,000 for The Vita Children’s Foundation.
